A tree limb on a tree in our back yard had been blown over during a high winds weather incident on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. It had partially touched on a large corner of our roof and landed in the tree limbs of another tree on the side of our home. I searched thru and called several tree services before I saw Tree Fellers and perused their positive reviews on Google. I liked the name of their company (an obvious play on a name for men and the job of cutting down trees) so I called and spoke with Tyler Malvik. He was very engaging and personable so I asked when he could come by to take a look. He was at our home early on the 16th and gave us a free quote. I need to state that many companies do not drive out to our home as it is out of the way, but Tyler had no qualms about driving almost an hour to reach us. He and his crew used a technique of ropes and pulleys to maneuver the limb up and then carefully went onto the roof to cut branches off of the limb to prevent any additional damage to our roof while removing said limb. Then they used the rope and pulleys to adjust that limb so that it could be removed safely and efficiently. I was super impressed but then they went on to remove all of the debris from the ground as well as using a very strong leaf blower to remove the debris from the roof and back deck. I am so glad that I chose to work with Tyler and this company, Tree Fellers. It was a positive and educational experience. Thank you to Tyler and his co-worker for their expertise and professionalism.

A live tree that looked healthy hit our house out of nowhere on a clear night, broke through the roof and almost crushed us (thankfully the support beam held). I happened to like the name so we contacted the Tree Fellers. These guys helped with the removal and scheduled us to quickly take down another tree which was at risk of falling (which after the first one was keeping us up at night, they were very kind and helpful about our situation and got the job scheduled and done quickly so we could get back to sleeping well). Mike also went around and checked other trees on our property, and was very honest about if things were a real danger or not and what needed to be pruned, clearly not just trying to make money off of us but figuring out how to keep us safe while not emptying out all of our savings.

All in all these are great people, they do a great job, and they are honest even when you are in a stressful situation (emergency tree removal). I cannot recommend them enough and they will have my business for as long as I live here.

They quoted us initially for trimming the tree and after arriving to trim it down, they decided it was safer to cut it down to the stump.
